The Righteous Mind

"The Left" and "The Right" are the same in one aspect according to Jonathan Haidt in his book "The Righteous Mind: Why Good People are Divided by Politics and Religion". The aspect being receptive to ideas across the aisle.

The book is divided into two parts, the first where he discusses the history of how institutions helped model people's beliefs and in the second of how people react to opposing beliefs.
